As I walk the streets of Berkeley, I hear sounds coming and going, birds flying to-and-fro from tree to tree, people before my eyes walking and running and then vanishing beyond some point of no return. Will I ever see these people again? Will I feel the same air on my face from yesterday? A lot of thoughts come through my mind as I am breathing in inspiration from all angles. Taking in all forms of life from movement of energy. It is exciting!
To experience peace in this moment is how I shall define my moment in time. The letting go without toil. The holding on without effort. Everything in it's perfect balance. Being in the center by definition is to be at the middle point of the circle or sphere and to be the thing in which everything gravitates back to. It can feel that way at times. The thought that every negative attitude has something to do with us or if some smile was directed our way we attribute it to some self-proclaimed good nature in which we have so carefully examined from a place of constant change. If we would only realize that peace is always in expression. These traits of the universe can not be owned nor stored away, nor done away with. It is the absolute!
How do we come to realize this state of perfect peace? Must we struggle and toil for something so free and infinite? As, I am in the unfolding process I begin to know and therefore I experience. No longer shall things be here as more than a thought and fleeting moment of bliss or pain. Both are connected with our own perception of reality and it is from this place which either guides or cripples mentally. If we choose to be guided by 5-sense reality we are doomed for the latter. To become, therefore I am. That is the mantra. Peace is wherever you show up. Peace is the mission in which you so proudly choose to serve and honor.
